On May 1-3, the global pet food industry will come together in Kansas City, Missouri, for the 30th annual Petfood Forum, organized by WATT Global Media and Petfood Industry.
A global conference and exhibition focused on technologies utilized in the processing of pet foods and pet treats, exhibitors include industry suppliers, co-packers and service providers, and attendees included professionals working in nutrition, ingredient and processing technologies, packaging, food science, R&D, product development, food safety, QA/QC, purchasing, import/export and regulatory compliance.
The 2023 show will host a sold-out floor of 362 exhibitors filling 627 booths and an estimated audience of 3,000+ attendees, and NPPD Economic Development Consultant Rick Nelsen, CEcD, will be one of those.
“I always appreciate the opportunity to represent NPPD’s customers at the Petfood Forum,” Nelsen said. “Nebraska and pet food companies have long made a good match, and the forum is a chance to communicate our unique advantages to companies, while learning what steps we can take to stay near the top of their lists.”
