NPPD Earns Third Consecutive Diamond RP3 Designation
NPPD has earned its third consecutive Diamond Level Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) designation from the American Public Power Association for providing reliable and safe electric service. The RP3 designation, which lasts for three years, recognizes public power utilities that demonstrate proficiency in four key disciplines: reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement.
Communities Awarded Rural Workforce Housing Funds
NPPD-served communities were awarded more than $16 million through the state of Nebraska’s Rural Workforce Housing Investment Fund. Authorized by the Rural Workforce Housing Investment Act of 2017, the RWHF helps communities create quality, affordable housing to accommodate growth.
