(USA Today) — USAToday.com reports than Nebraska is ranked No. 7 in the latest Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index. “The Index measures how people feel about and experience their daily lives, and looks at their health across five categories:
purpose, social, financial, community and physical.” Nebraska is
ranked in the top ten of each category, with the exception of the category of
“physical” — where Nebraska is ranked No. 31. Alaska was
ranked No. 1 overall on the index, followed by Hawaii and South Dakota.
The Plains states claimed six of the top 10 spots on the index.
