In mid-February, a team of representatives from around Nebraska, including NPPD economic Development Consultant Brian Vasa, traveled to Tulare, California for the largest annual outdoor agricultural show, the World Ag Expo.
Held at the International Agri-Center, the Expo hosts over 1,200 exhibitors and sees more than 100,000 attendees each year. The Expo provides a great opportunity to see and learn about new technologies and developments in the field and gives representatives like the contingent from Nebraska a chance to connect with the companies at the forefront of that to help showcase the cornhusker state a place to locate or expand their operations.
In addition to meeting with various vendors and companies at the show, Nebraska Dairy organized a dinner to connect potential dairy producers and processors to have more conversations around that specific industry’s potential for growth in that industry.
Tradeshows like the World Ag expo are an important part of business attraction. NPPD is glad to represent greater Nebraska at these events and collaborating with customer communities and other Nebraska industry groups.
