Timpte Inc. was named the 2024 Nebraska Manufacturer of the Year at the annual NE Chamber Manufacturing Summit on October 29, 2024. The David City-based company has been designing and building trailers for dry bulk commodities since 1884. Senator Pete Ricketts presented the award to Timpte’s President and CEO, Tim Carpenter.
The City of David City is a wholesale customer of Nebraska Public Power District.
