Be ready for opportunity in 2026 with a Community Guide from NPPD.
One of the key services provided by the Nebraska Public Power District’s Economic Development Team is helping to position customer communities to take advantage of development opportunities that present themselves. NPPD can produce one of the best tools for that with a Community Guide.
This full-color, magazine style publication can be tailored to your community while highlighting such areas as general information, economic development, labor force, infrastructure & communications, utilities, tax structure & local government education, quality of life & community services, and agriculture-statistics & climate. The Community Guide can be used not only for the recruitment of businesses but for attracting professionals and new residents to your community. The community is responsible for providing some of the known information required to complete the document while NPPD team members will perform the layout and design, as well as some of specific statistics throughout the guide.
As a free service to NPPD customers and Wholesale customers, 50 copies will be printed to be used for recruitment. A digital version is available at sites.nppd.com and on the LOIS portal. Communities are encouraged to share it on their website as well.
Every community is different, so while some of the basic information gathered is the same from guide to guide, the NPPD team is happy to work to design each guide to meet each community’s strengths and vision.
