NPPD has a long partnership with the North Platte Chamber of Commerce and was recently honored as the 2024 Economic Development Partner of the Year at their annual Chamber and Development meeting.
“NPPD is known as a support resource to help with research, prospect visits, site readiness assistance, and many other ways to help the North Platte community with their economic development goals, says Economic Development Manager Nicole Sedlacek. NPPD has worked closely with the community over the last several decades and most recently played a vital role in the development of the Hershey Rail Park, a 300-acre project site intended to attract industry, primarily agribusiness, manufacturing, and processing.
Sedlacek adds, “NPPD has been a pivotable partner to help bring new businesses and development to the area as well help retain and grow existing companies in the region.”
