We are pleased to welcome Jonathan Jank to Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) as an Economic Development Consultant.
Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia University and brings a strong background in business and community leadership. For more than a decade, he served as president and CEO of the Seward County Chamber and Development Partnership, where he built a reputation as a thoughtful, steady leader with a deep commitment to growth and collaboration.
His work has been recognized at both a state and national levels. He was named the 2024 Chamber Professional of the Year by the Nebraska Chamber Association and was selected as one of the 2025 North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers and also a past Economic Developer of the Year with Nebraska Economic Developers Association. His experience, perspective, and dedication to building strong communities, make him a valuable addition to our team.
In his new role, Jank will promote economic development in communities and rural areas served at the wholesale and retail level by NPPD. He will collaborate closely with local economic development organizations and community representatives to help retain and recruit jobs, capital investment and electric load across NPPD’s service area.
