NPPD Partnering Up with NE Dept. of Econ. Dev., OPPD, and Black Hills Energy

September 20, 2016

Nebraska Public Power District is partnering up with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Omaha Public Power District, and Black Hills Energy to offer community and economic development leaders across the state an opportunity to learn more about Location One Information Systems (LOIS) to help market available sites and buildings in your community to prospective businesses.

Having available inventory to help attract new investment in your community is one of the most critical steps in economic development. Without available inventory, communities don’t have anything to sell. Marketing inventory isn’t only critical to business recruitment and attraction, but it also benefits a community when it comes to business retention and expansion and entrepreneurship.

This two hour hands-on training will help take the mystery out of site/building database management. Learn not only what information to include when marketing your property, but also take time to enter your community’s information during this training.

Questions about any of the training sessions, please contact Nicole Sedlacek, by email at njsedla@nppd.com or 402-336-5332.
