| The city of Wymore has a total requirements wholesale power contract with Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD). The 34.5kV electric subtransmission facilities serving the city are owned and operated by Norris Public Power Distric. The distribution system is owned and operated at retail by the city of Wymore. | Wymore sits on the Big Blue River that is used mainly for fishing. Indian Creek Recreation area is located 5 miles south of Wymore and covers all your recreational needs. Wymore Country Club is located on the west side of town and is a great 9-hole public/private course. Carts are available for rental as well as the clubhouse. Beverages and snacks are served in the clubhouse. Arbor State Park is the main park in Wymore located on M Street. It hosts the pool, rodeo arena, Legion Ball Field, Park House (which is available for rental), tennis courts, skate board area,lots of playground and picnic area,school football field and RV hookups with electrical, water and dump site. For RV overnight fees contact the City Office. McCandless Park is located on Hwy 77 and hosts basketballs courts, Little League baseball, playground and picnic areas and the Pleasantview Welsh Schoolhouse museum.

| Our Community: | The city of Wymore invites you to contact us to learn more about our community. We will be celebrating our 125th birthday over our annual Sam Wymore Days Celebration. This year it will be held June 2, 3 & 4th with a parade, LOTS of activities and a birthday party held on Sunday, June 4th at the Wymore Community Center from 2-4pm.
