| Superior Municipal Airport, 2 miles north of Superior, has a 3,700 foot paved runway and a 3,100 foot sod runway; both are lighted. A major facilities upgrade will begin in the spring of 2005. A new concrete aircraft parking ramp and a widened concrete main taxiway will accommodate heavier business aircraft. Superior's airport has a full-time fixed base operator who offers aviation fuel service and a complimentary courtesy car. |
