Butler County Health Care Center in David City is a 25-bed acute care medical and surgical facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital is also home to a 5,100 square foot Community Wellness Center. According to the Butler Public Power District 2001 Facts Book, there are three Dentists, 1 Chiropractor, 45 Registered Nurses and 3 Practical Nurses in Butler County. There are two veterinarians in Butler County. One located in Ulysses and the other in David City.
