Randolph is served by east-west U.S. Highway 20. North-south U.S. Highway 81, four miles west of the community, is designated to be a four-lane highway. Interstate 29 is 55 miles east, Interstate 90 is 95 miles north, and Interstate 80 is 120 miles south of Randolph. Local haulers of livestock and grain include Dominesses Trucking, Huwaldt's Trucking and BoBo's Trucking. Arrow Bus Line serves Norfolk (27 miles) with one scheduled bus daily and provides bus parcel service.

The Hartington Municipal Airport, 24 miles north of Randolph, has a 3960-foot, 60-foot wide paved and lighted runway and a 2,600-foot grass runway. Facilites include an administration building, hangars, tie-downs, aviation fuel, rental cars, and telephone service. Charter service is available upon request. Sixteen local planes are based at the airport. The Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Iowa, 55 miles northeast, and Eppley Airfield in Omaha, 135 miles southeast of Randolph, are major air hubs.

Barge:

Barge service is available at 19 barge terminal facilities on the Missouri River in Nebraska. The Sioux City river port is 55 miles northeast of Randolph. These river ports are navigable approximately eight months per year.

The company's primary freight is grain, fertilizer and ethanol and connects with the BNSF Railway Company in Sioux City, Iowa.

Vocational courses offered in the high school include business, vocational ag business, family and consumer science, and industrial technology education. Adult educational and college-level programs are available in the high school in cooperation with the Northeast Nebraska Community College and Wayne State College. Computer classes and rural farm education classes are offered by Northeast Community College. Special education classes, part of the school system, are available to disabled students. Randolph participates in Educational Service Unit 1, which is headquartered in Wakefield. Some of the services provided include media, Internet, special education, staff development, and technology assistance.

Randolph has two parks containing ten acres. Facilities include swimming pool, lighted double tennis court, baseball diamond, football field and track, three softball diamonds, playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, and two picnic areas with tables and shelters. Randolph has an RV Park with electricity, water, sewer dump site, and six pads. Willow Creek, 20 miles, and Lewis and Clark Lake, 45 miles, are great areas to go boating from Randolph. Annual celebrations include the Pancake Supper in January; Community Fair with 4-H exhibits, livestock entries, carnival, and barbecue in July; and Pumpkinfest in October. Recreation programs include midget and legion baseball, softball, swimming, basketball, sand volleyball, pool, bowling, darts, and golf leagues. The Senior Citizens Center provides year-round programs, congregate meals, and meals on wheels for shut-ins.

Osmond General Hospital, 13 miles west of Randolph, is a 37 bed acute-swing bed and intermediate care facility. The hospital's ancillary departments include radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, and emergency/outpatient services. Randolph Family Practice is staffed by a physician who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Colonial Manor of Randolph, Inc., is a state licensed, 44-bed nursing facility built in 1968 and remodeled in 1995. Seventeen private and 13 semiprivate rooms have 24 hour nursing supervision. Colonial Estates is a nine-unit assisted living facility attached to the Colonial Manor. The city of Randolph also has one optometrist.
