| The Garden County Hospital, built in 1969, is a 10 bed Critical Access Hospital with two monitored cardiac care rooms. Swing bed is a care level option available to patients. These areas are staffed 24 hours a day by registered nurses. Recently added services include: CT scans, MRI, and bone density scans, and nuclear studies.
--24 hour Emergency Services, including a lighted helipad, a fully staffed team of EMT's, in-house radiology and laboratory services, staff physicians, mid level providers, and registered nurses, all ACLS certified and available for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
--Outpatient Surgery offers the opportunity to have the best of both worlds in elective surgery. The surgeries are done with the same physicians, anesthesia personnel, and equipment used at Regional West Medical Center, but this service is brought right to your home town. Most of the time follow up can be scheduled at the Specialty Clinic, which eliminates most travel for patients.
--Therapy Services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available through Garden County Health Services.
--Garden County Rural Health Clinic is located in the main health care facility in Oshkosh. It is staffed Monday through Friday, and late Thursday evening for your convenience.
--Garden County Specialty Clinic offers the following specialty care areas: cardiology, stress test, and echo cardiogram testing with cardiologist supervision and immediate test results, pulmonology, internal medicine, critical care, orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery, vascular surgery and assessments, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, counseling services, and massage therapy.
--Garden County Nursing Home, located in Oshkosh, was built in 1970 as an addition to the Garden County Hospital. It has a 40 bed capacity and offers a full range of services and amenities. Adult day care, an Activity Director, a full time restoratative care program, in-house beauty shop, a fenced in resident garden spot with a cement patio, water fountain, benches, are just a few of the high-lights. A $380,000 community funded renovation has just expanded the activities area, dining area, added a community meeting area, and a distance learning area.
--Garden County Health Services Assisted Living Garden County Nursing Home in Lewellen has undergone a one million dollar renovation project to become Garden County's only assisted living facility. This facility has 23 apartments, a commons area, lounge, beauty shop, activity room, a beautiful dining room, meeting room, exercise room, and a laundry room.
