  Milford is located in Seward County, in southeastern Nebraska and is served by U.S. Highway 6 and State Highway 15. A direct highway access connects Milford with Interstate 80 3 miles north. Milford is 22 miles west of Lincoln, and 80 miles southwest of Omaha.

Our Community:Basic economic activities of Milford, a college town, include manufacturing, education, agriculture, and cattle and hog raising. The primary retail trade area of Milford extends approximately 3 miles north, 2 miles east, 5 miles south, and 10 miles west, and contains 3,400 people. Milford is 1,452 feet above sea level and its terrain is level to gently rolling. Loess plains with fertile black soil are predominant in the west and south, with glacial drift hills in the east and north. Drainage is good.
