  Loup City is located in the heart of Nebraska which also means it is in the center of the United States. Interstate 80 is located just 50 minutes south. Loup City is just 45 minutes north of Grand Island and Kearney. Loup City is located on the crossroads of Hwy 10 and Hwy 92 making it convenient to enter and leave town in any direction.

Loup City provides education for all ages in K-12 in the city. They just built a new high school in 1998 offering clean new space for learning. The students enjoy a low teacher to student ratio offering them extra one on one time with the teachers. There are many sports and other extra curricular activities offered for the students to be involved.
