O'Neill Municipal Airport is located 2 miles northwest of O'Neill. The airport has a 4,400 foot lighted and paved runway and a 3,030 foot turf runway. Facilities include 100 low lead fuel, beacon, VOR, overnight hangar storage, overnight lodging, next day air freight, wind sock, wind tee, major and minor repair, tie down, terminal, and automated weather service. Twenty-one private planes are hangared there; none are available for charter.

Inman Attendance Center is located in Inman. Students are provided with the latest curriculum materials, and all special services that are available through the O'Neill School District, including a hot lunch program, special education services, Title 1 services, band, and ELL. The High Alility Learner (HAL) instruction is provided by the individual teacher through enriching one-to-one opportunities. Also, all students K-8 have the latest technology available to them including MAC books, SMART boards, Palm Pilots, iPods, and video equipment. O'Neill JR./SR. High School has between 375 and 400 students enrolled throughout the year. A broad spectrum of courses are offered. In addition to 13 core classes, high school students can follow a vocational program with 29 course offerings or a college preparatory curriculum with 31 courses. Classes are also offered through a variety of post-secondary institutions during the regular school day. Students may enroll in TANN classes (Technology Academy of Northeast Nebraska) for both high school and college credit. O'Neill High School has had tremendous success in scholastic competition over the years. Students from O'Neill High School connsistently score higher than the state average on the ACT. O'Neill also has 2 private elementary schools and 1 private Jr./Sr. High School. St. Mary's believes in providing quality education in a Christian setting. They enroll about 112 in elementary and 110 in Jr./Sr. High School. Word of Life enroll about 17 in their elementary.
