Our Community:Inglewood is both an old and new community. It was first settled more than 100 years ago, but wasn't incorporated until July 1959. By becoming an incorporated village, Inglewood was able to write its own codes and regulations. Since incorporation, residents have worked to improve the village's image. Streets are paved and sewer system installed. Named after the Inglewood, CA., farming area, the village was platted in 1918 and given Fremont city street names. The Village is served directly through the Fremont post office, Fremont Department of Utilites and has a Fremont zip code.
