COMMUNITY NOTES |
| Our Community: | Excellent medical facilities, school system, an off-campus office for Central Community College, the Tassel performing arts center,YMCA of the Prairie, historic Nebraska Plains museum, the South Central regional library and Educational Service Unit 11, and one of the top volunteer fire departments in the state are all integral to the quality of life that the citizens of Holdrege enjoy. Combine those amenities with abundant hunting and fishing in the area, the naturally clean water and air and it is understandable why Holdrege was chosen as one of the best small towns in America with population of 5,000 to 15,000 in the mid 1990's. | | Suggested Sites: |
