| Hebron Airport Authority usually has hangar space available. Av gas is sold at airport on unattended basis. Very comfortable pilot's lounge and meeting room at airport. The Hebron Airport Authority has plans to extend the runway in the next few years. Plans are to start clearing trees next year, the project will be in phases. |

The Hebron Light and Water Department retails electricity to the city of Hebron. Power is supplied to the community by Nebraska Public Power District's (NPPD) 115,000/34,500 volt substation located one half mile north of Hebron. Hebron is also the site for NPPD's north Hebron peaking station with a 50 MW output. The city's distribution voltage is 4,160, with a 34.5/4.16 kV substation capacity of 10,000 kVA. An alternate 34,500 volt source is available from Superior and Geneva. The system is tied to the statewide grid system by means of high voltage transmission lines. NPPD’s generation capacity includes the 778 MW Cooper Nuclear Station and the 1,300 MW Gerald Gentleman Station in addition to hydro, coal, and diesel operated plants throughout the state of Nebraska. |

| The municipal water system in Hebron is supplied by four wells, which have an average depth of 137 feet. The system, serving 100 percent of the Hebron population, has a combined pumping capacity of 1,000 gallons per minute and an overhead storage capacity of 500,000 gallons. The average daily demand is 875,000 gallons, and the historic peak daily demand is 1,214,400 gallons. The system has a maximum capacity of 1,940,000 gallons per day. The static pressure is 70 pounds and the residual pressure is 60 pounds per square inch.
Groundwater is available for industrial uses. The quality of water in Hebron does not necessitate a water treatment plant. A 175 foot well should produce approximately 400 gallons of water per minute. The water table has not changed significantly during the last five years.
The color of the water is clear and the hardness, in milligrams per liter, is 200. The average tap water temperature remains around 50° year round. No

The department provides protection for areas outside the city limits by responding to mutual aid calls with the Rural Fire District. Hebron has 89 fire hydrants. | Thayer County Health Services is a comprehensive primary care system providing health and wellness services to the citizens of Thayer County and surrounding communities in Nebraska and Kansas. Thayer County Health Services is comprised of a 19-bed Critical Access Hospital and a clinic in Hebron, and five satellite clinics in Bruning, Chester, Davenport, Deshler, and Milligan.
