| Western Nebraska Community College offers Associates of Arts & Science transfer degree programs. Applied technology programs are also in place. A Distance Learning System allows students to complete Bachelor's and Master's Degrees through Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska. WNCC's Center for Business & Individual Training provides high quality, affordable seminars, workshops, & customized training programs. The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing prepares students for Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science Nursing Degrees, as well as Nurse Practitioner Certification. Over 80% of nursing graduates find employment in the immediate region. Regional West Medical Center's School of Radiologic technology is a two-year program and is the only radiographer education program in Western Nebraska. Monument Shadows Golf Course lies at the base of the Scotts Bluff National Monument.
