top of page COMMUNITY NOTES
Our Community:Battle Creek is well known in the area for its outstanding educational systems (public and private). Battle Creek is also rich in history, having received its name from a battle with the Pawnees that was avoided by the quick thinking of Pawnee Chief Peta-le-sharu. History records say that he wrapped an American flag around himself and negotiated an agreement with the troops. Thank you for viewing the profile of the Battle Creek community and we hope you have an opportunity to experience our small town charm.
